Buying the tickets

by Edgar Edgarberger

Comrades, Madam Chair,

Well anyway, I thought the time had come to buy the tickets. In order to illustrate the decaying nature of suburban infrastructure, I was going to go down to the local shops near the station, where the newsagent is practically the only shop not boarded up, glass windows smashed, and the pine boards slightly charred from a desultory attempt at entertainment  by disaffected, sullen, and class unconscious youth. I thought that the air of suburban desperation would inspire me…

Then I realised, what am I? Some sort of filthy…journalist or something? So I bought them over the internet.

Our first draw is next Wednesday 17th August. Check back on the 18th to see how the unified progressive front has done!
